"Maggie is great. She's warm, funny, and totally honest. I always feel like she gives me 100% of her time and energy, and she helps me do my best. Thanks to Maggie, I have the confidence to perform in ways I never thought possible."

Current Projects - PASSING

I'm doing a one-woman show called PASSING by Dara Frazier, directed by Cedric Hill.

PASSING Moves to Detroit
Following our successful New York run, our next production will be in Detroit.

Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 8:00pm
Holistic Development Community Center
17425 Second Avenue
Detroit, MI 48203

Overview
A woman born in 1899 lives between two worlds: BLACK and WHITE. Come and witness her powerful journey onstage! PASSING is inspired by the true story of Minerva Roulhac who was adopted by a former slave and raised as black. Her brother, Jordon ran away and decided to pass for white. Minerva raised eight children (all college-educated) and lived to be nearly 100 years old. This play confronts issues of race, identity, ethnicity, class, complexion and interracial relationships, and is truly an American story.
